There are plenty of options available out there to users who want a remote button for their smartphone. As you can see in the video above, Flic is a button designed for smartphones that can accomplish many things.
For example a single press can execute a particular command, a double press a different command, and a press and hold will yield a different function as well, all of which will be up to you to decide for yourself. Now the more obvious uses for Flic would be to let it double up as a remote shutter for your phone’s camera, which is possible.
However based on the video, it seems that Flic can be so much more. It could be used to send out an emergency text message to friends with your GPS location, or it can also be used to make a call to a preset number.
