With the reports of Apple’s iPhone 6 bending, many of Apple’s competitors such as Samsung have put out videos to show that their products won’t bend. Well it looks like OnePlus is a company looking to cash in on the whole Bendgate scandal by releasing a new video in which it showcases how the company puts their phones to the test.
According to OnePlus, “At OnePlus we believe that high quality shouldn’t come with a high price tag. Today our team made a special trip to our factory to film and put together this insider’s look at how our smartphones ace their quality control tests.” The company showed off a variety of tests they used, like the sit test, the drop test, tumble test, and even showed off the USB and port durability test.
Of course given how hard it is to get a OnePlus One device, we think that the company should be focusing on how to get its phones into the hands of more of its consumers, rather than try to showcase just how durable their devices are. However if you are a OnePlus One owners, we guess this video should reassure you that your phone will be able to take the occasional drop and tumble and walk away relatively unscathed.
