Earlier this year, we saw a particular smartphone model make its way over to the FCC, which was speculated by some to it being the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. Well, you can place all of those speculations on the backburner at the moment, as it looks as though the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has been spotted over on Samsung’s official website for the Thailand region, where Samsung has also listed down a slew of details in addition to some product images in order to let us have a better idea on how the smartphone would look like.
It must be said that the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has already hit several countries in South East Asia such as Malaysia and Thailand, and this is so far one of the closest unofficial announcements as possible – although it would be nice if the suits over at Samsung did step forward to mention something official.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will carry 6″ 720p display, making it larger in size compared to the flagship 5.7″ Galaxy Note 4 phablet. It looks like this is a comfortable middle ground compared to its previous two predecessors. As for the rest of the hardware specifications, we are looking at an Exynos 4415 chipset with a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 1.5GB RAM, an 8MP shooter at the back with a 2.1MP camera in front, LTE connectivity and a dual-SIM option.
