Blizzard continues to set records with their games, and this time around, it will involve their free-to-play digital card game known as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. The so-called straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back (in a good way) would be word that this title has managed to surpass the 20 million players mark, at least according to the official Twitter account.
This is huge, considering how Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft managed to go beyond the 10 million players mark in March earlier this year, and that considering how the open beta and release happened just early this year. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft can be played on a variety of platforms including the iPad, Mac, Windows PC and Windows 8 touch-based devices, which means you will find it to be easily accessible. Not only that, it is tipped to launch later this year on Android devices down the road, too.
Have you jumped aboard the Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft bandwagon already? If you haven’t yet done so, what is it that is preventing you from doing that? We all know that just about all of Blizzard’s titles can be extremely addictive, so you might want to go for a crash course in time management before you give this title a go.
