Even if you are not a Disney-owned Star Wars fan, chances are the amount of hype that is being generated around the new trilogy of sequels following Star Wars: Episode VI will see you watching the movies when they hit the silver screens in due time. While George Lucas and his team had to envision a retro looking world in the second Star Wars trilogy block, the J. J. Abrams directed Star Wars Episode VII will be future forward – and that includes a brand new Storm Trooper helmet design that has been revealed by a website known as Indie Revolver, touting it to hail from “very reliable information”.
Apart from that, word has also gotten around that a “leak” of an actual prop from the upcoming movie has been spotted. From what we can tell from the alleged design above, it does look neat, as though it follows in the footsteps of the original three movies compared to the prequel trilogy, and for obvious reasons, too. What the Galactic Empire should be concerned about, however, is not how streamlined or artistic the new Storm Trooper helmets are, but whether they would be able to help these seemingly hapless clones actually hit their targets with a blaster.
