Smartphone charges come in all shapes and sizes, and while the ones that are usually bundled with our phones are more than capable of getting the job done, aesthetically they might not necessarily be the most pleasing thing to the eye. That being said, if you’re interested in a more nicely designed wireless charger, perhaps the Swich might be of interest to you.
As you can see in the video above, the Swich is a very nicely designed wireless charger. It will be Qi-compatible so if you have a phone that uses the Qi wireless charging standard, or a smartphone case that uses the standard, then you should be able to use it with the Swich just fine.
According to its creators, the Swich has been designed so that phones can be angled just right, allowing you to glance at your phone and check its notifications comfortably. The surface also sports a micro-suction surface to grip your phone into place, which we reckon sounds more user-friendly than having to clip it into place, making it easier for you to just grab your device and go.
The Swich will also feature materials such as ceramic and wood, thus giving off a more natural and warm feel, so if that’s the kind of look you’re going for, then this could be just what the doctor ordered. The Kickstarter project for the Swich wireless charger has met its goal of $25,000, but if you’d like to learn more or pledge a donation, you can head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
