The upcoming LG G Watch that has already gained its nod of approval from the folks over at the FCC has experienced yet another information leak in addition to its recent full system dump, where we now have a better idea as to what one can find underneath the hood of the LG G Watch. The latest leaked specifications sheet do point to a variant of the Snapdragon 400 processor within. Instead of the MSM8226 model, one would find the LG G Watch is touted to boast of an APQ8026 SoC that will sport a similar CPU, albeit with the Adreno 220 GPU rather than the Adreno 305.
For a wearable piece of technology, this particular change makes plenty of sense, since there is a whole lot less number of pixels for the processor to churn out. In fact, the latest leak for the G Watch point to a 1.65” display that has a 280 x 280 resolution, which points to a pixel density of approximately 240 pixels per inch.
It is also touted to come in a form factor that measures 37.9mm x 46.5mm and 10mm, tipping the scales at a lightweight 61 grams. There is also every possibility of the upcoming LG G Watch sporting 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory, in addition to a 400mAh battery which is touted to deliver up to 36 hours of standby capability. Not the most ideal, but it ain’t half bad, either.
