I am quite sure that you would have heard of Vertu before, which is the company that Nokia introduced to the world in 1998 that rolls out nothing but extremely expensive handsets, which more often than not, would also use its fair share of exotic materials (that ultimately adds up to the cost, this I am sure). Of course, the unique design as well as use of such exotic materials continue to be a signature with new Vertu handsets, but somehow or rather, the hardware specifications of such handsets tend to be way below par for a high end model.
Having said that, it seems that things might change for the better in the future where Vertu handsets are concerned, as an AnTuTu entry shows off an alleged upcoming Vertu phone. Called the ‘Signature Touch (RM-960V), the smartphone will come with its fair share of hardware specifications that ought to be able to rub shoulders with the best of them.
The size of the display remains unknown, but it will sport 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, run on a powerful quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, have 2GB RAM, a 13MP camera at the back, 16GB of internal memory, as well as Android 4.4.2 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice. Until something official is shared, we will have to take this with a grain of salt.
