The Pantech Vega Iron 2 has just been announced to be the company’s official flagship device for this year, which does seem to bode well for South Korea’s third mobile device manufacturer considering how they tend to remain in the shadows of both Samsung as well as LG. The Vega Iron 2 will continue from where the first Vega Iron left off last year, where it comes with high end specifications as well as an interesting looking design that ought to turn heads whenever you pull it out from your pocket.
At the back, you will find a fake leather finish that would remind one of select Samsung devices that was released not too long back. As for its hardware specifications, the Pantech Vega Iron 2 will feature a 5.3” 1080p Full HD AMOLED touchscreen display, a 13MP shooter at the back with an LED flash, a 2MP front-facing camera, a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, and a 3,22mAh battery.
Android 4.4 KitKat would be the mobile operating system of choice, where everything is held together in a metal frame. I guess there won’t be any Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor as rumored in the past.
