It is only as we grow older and we realize how hard money is to come by that most of us begin to appreciate the value of money. This means that we’re less wasteful and take more time when considering our purchases, especially if they’re very expensive. We’re also more careful with our electronics since it can be expensive to keep replacing them if we’re not careful.
Now for parents who wants to get their kids a phone but are worried that they might have to spend money replacing phones that their kids drop or abuse, you might be interested in a handset known as the WeGo. The handset is being launched by Sprint and is being marketed as a value-friendly phone that can take certain levels of abuse.
For starters the phone will be water resistant and will also be shatter proof from drops as high as 12 feet, so you can rest assured knowing that the phone will be able to withstand the abuse it might experience at the hands of your kids. As far features, the phone will come with tracking functionality that lets parents keep track of where their kids are.
There are also parental control that lets them control who can call the phone and who the phone can call out to, including messages. There is also a WeGo Portal that parents can remotely control the phone with. According to Sprint, the phone is currently available for purchase for those who are adding a new line to their account, where it will be priced at $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $5 per month.
The Sprint WeGo service will also cost $9.99 a month which includes 1,000 text messages and 1,000 minutes of talk.
