Just the other day, NVIDIA revealed the minimum hardware specification requirements gamers would need if they wished to play Activision’s Call of Duty: Ghosts on their computer. While some of the specs made sense, what really stood out was the fact that the game would require a whopping 50GB of hard disk space for the install! Granted games these days are getting bigger, but 50GB does seem like a lot, doesn’t it? Well there is a chance that the 50GB requirement could be wrong, according to a tweet by Activision.
The tweet was in response to a fan asking if the specs released by NVIDIA were official. According to Activision’s reply, the simple answer is no. “Unfortunately they are not. Please stay tuned for the official requirements coming soon, thank you.” We’re not sure why NVIDIA seemed to believe that those were the official specifications, perhaps it was based on their years of experience in the gaming industry, but either way gamers should take note of this. No word on when Activision will release the official specifications, but they did state that it was coming soon, so we guess we will just have to wait it out. In the meantime what sort of specs are you wishing NVIDIA got wrong? We’re sure the 50GB install could be one of them.
