LG Display has just unveiled what is deemed to be the first LCD panel for monitors in the world that will boast of Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology, where obviously, this will be part of a in collaboration with Intel Corporation. This is a spanking new 23.8” LCD panel that will enable users to stream wirelessly both their laptop and desktop content to their TVs and monitors, all in a far more hassle-free manner.
The success of this new Intel WiDi enabled LCD panel is made possible thanks to Intel’s WiDi solution that has been incorporated into a key chipset straight into the LCD module. Thanks to such a cutting-edge LCD panel that has been embedded with Intel WiDi solution, LG Display would pave the way for users to enjoy quality images in an easy and convenient manner without the need for extra devices, in addition to facilitating a path for both OEMs and monitor manufacturers to adopt such advanced technology without having to fork out a fortune. The 23.8” Intel WiDi solution-enabled LCD panel from LG Displays will make its bow at the upcoming 2013 Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco later this week.
