nexus5We’ve been hearing rumors about the upcoming Google Nexus 5 for a while now, with the first “real” sighting of the device spotted during Google’s unveiling of the Android 4.4 KitKat statue. We’ve also seen benchmarks of the device leaked, but now thanks to a photo uploaded onto the MacRumors forum, we might have a clearer look at the Nexus 5, assuming of course that the image above is not a fake and is the real deal. Based on what we have seen in the past, this image of the handset does look real and pretty much similar to previous sightings, thus corroborating the rumors ever so slightly.

The full specifications of the alleged device remain unofficial for now, but the rumors are saying that we can look forward to a Full HD 5” display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with 8GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, and presumably will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. Since none of this is official, take it with a grain of salt for now. However we are in the month of October which is when Google last launched their previous Nexus device, so it has been heavily speculated that this is the month Google could unveil the Nexus 5 as well, so stay tuned for more updates!
