Much has been said of the Windows Phone environment this month alone, including the fact that it has a weak crypto which makes it an easy target for hackers to obtain passwords. Well, on a different note, we do happen to hear that Microsoft is already working hard to roll out the GDR3 update for Windows Phone 8 users, and they are testing select builds even right now. Some of the new features that Windows Phone 8 users are able to look forward to with the new update would include rotation lock, user interface changes to Live Tiles, text syncing to PCs, and a driving mode option which was specially concocted for in-car use.
Strangely enough, the rotation lock did not make its way to the previous versions, but I guess with the advent of larger sized displays in Windows Phone devices, things should change for the better. The user interface has also been revamped so that it will be able to take advantage of the larger full HD displays, and it is nice to hear that text syncing capability is being finalized, which means when available, you can view text messages on the web as well as on PCs, now how about that?
