It was just yesterday that we brought you word that there will be no Moto X event which will be happening later this July 11th, which frankly, is just a few more days away. The world was originally abuzz with word that Motorola could hold an event this July 11th, no thanks to the image of a guy and a girl jumping into the deep blue sea, with the guy apparently forming the “X” shape, while the lady forms an “I”, where it would depict the number 11 if you were to read it as a Roman numeral. I guess all of the buzz and earlier excitement would eventually come up to naught, as Motorola themselves have said that there is no event. Nada. Zilch. Zero.
Move along now boys and girls, and continue doing what you had planned to do earlier on July 11th, as we will not be seeing a Moto X smartphone revealed, and neither will there be any other devices mentioned such as the Motorola DROID Ultra, the Motorola DROID Ultra MAXX and the Motorola DROID Ultra M. Not only that, blogger Leo Laporte’s claim that Motorola will be holding a private event for “50 or so press members” has been shot down.
