If the idea of a Sony full-frame camera in the size of a NEX body sounds appealing, you might be pleased to learn that thanks to Sony Alpha Rumors, additional (rumored) details of the camera have surfaced in addition to what we learnt the other day. According to Sony Alpha Rumors, they have received word from their sources that Sony is apparently “ready” to launch the device and that several prototypes have already been tested. According to them, while the price of the camera has yet to be finalized, they expect that the camera to be priced just below the $3,000 mark, putting it at roughly the same price as the A99.
Their source has also revealed to them that the camera will feature the Olympus 5 axis stabilization which is currently used by the Olympus E-M5 model, which supposed is the best in the market although we guess this is probably a matter of preference. In any case since nothing is confirmed, do take it with a grain of salt for now but it certainly sounds like Sony has quite a monster camera on their hands and we can’t wait to see it in its official capacity!
