Judging by recent leaks and rumors, Google is going to unveil its new Nexus 7 2 tablet in the very near future. We’ve already seen press shots of this tablet being leaked. Today yet another cache of press shots has been leaked, but there’s a twist. In the previous leak, we saw the device touting the stock Android 4.2 wallpaper. The latest leak shows off a new wallpaper, which is believed to belong to Android 4.3. Google has an event scheduled for July 24th, it is expected to unveil not only this tablet, but also Android 4.3.
Looking at these images, it has been ascertained that the Google has once again collaborated with ASUS to manufacture the new Nexus 7 2 tablet. The images show a physical notification LED up front, dual cameras and stereo speakers on the back. As per a Best Buy ad for this tablet that leaked, the 16GB Wi-Fi Nexus 7 2 tablet with the 1.5GHz quadcore processor and 1920×1200 pixel resolution display is expected to cost $229. The 32GB variant is said to have a price tag of $269. There has been chatter of a LTE variant as well. [Images via AndroidPolice]
