larry_pageWe’re sure many of you guys are wondering what exactly Motorola has up their sleeves with the upcoming Moto X. Rumored specs unfortunately don’t seem too exciting, although rumors of the device apparently available in wood, ceramic, and metals does sound like an interesting idea, but apparently the device is good enough where Google’s CEO, Larry Page, has expressed his excitement over it. This was revealed during Google’s conference call which followed the company’s recent earnings report, and according to Page, “I think they’re working hard on making good products, we’re really excited about it, they’re excited about it […] you’ll get to try it out really soon.”

Of course given that he is the CEO of Google, the company that acquired Motorola  Mobility, it is part of his job to be excited and help hype the upcoming announcement of the device, but what do you guys think? Will the Moto X truly be a smartphone from Motorola that will be different from their previous offerings, and perhaps one that will help steal some of the spotlight from Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and the upcoming Galaxy Note 3?
