It was at the beginning of this month when Razer began to take in pre-orders of their two Windows 8-powered gaming tablets, namely the Razer Edge as well as the pricier Razer Edge Pro. Well, the company’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan announced over Facebook that they will suspend pre-orders for the Razer Edge Pro at the moment because of high demand.
Min-Liang Tan stated, “We’ve had to stop taking pre-orders for the Razer Edge Pro as the pre-orders have gone beyond our foreseeable manufacturing capacity (i.e. all stock is sold out for the months to come) … We’re doing everything we can to get more units out in the coming months. We appreciate the patience.
The post did not state how many units of the Razer Edge Pro were ordered. Just a reminder: the 10.1 tablet has a Intel Core i7 processor, and an NVIDIA GT640M LE GPU and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. A 128GB version was being sold for $1,299 while a 256GB version was selling for for $1,499.”
Did this bit of news bum you out or what?
