Evernote 5.0 for Android has just been announced, and of course with this spanking new update, you will be able to expect your fair share of features to accompany it. For starters, there is the all new camera that helps you remember precious moments in a blow-by-blow account, letting you capture those tender moments without having to leave the camera. With its new Multi-shot Camera, you are able to capture multiple photos, followed by annotating them within a note.
Page Camera is more or less a feature that transforms your mobile device into a pocket scanner. All you need to do is ensure this mode is selected, and you can then save physical documents and papers in Evernote. To do so, align the page using the on-screen rectangle, snap a photo, and the app will do its bit to check out the page’s edges, removing shadows along the way and improving the overall contrast for better readability. With the recent introduction of Google Keep, how do you find this latest release from Evernote? Will it help them maintain their market share, or will they continue to slip further behind in due time?
