RIM’s BlackBerry 10 launch is just a few weeks away, and we’ve seen a few leaks here and there, tidbits really, of what is to come. In spite of the fact that all the major carriers in the U.S. as well as in Canada have confirmed their support for BB10, RIM has kept its mouth shut as far as the release dates are concerned. Of course, spilling the beans is the last thing that a company would do while preparing for a bigwig. But according to a leaked image passed around various new outlets, RIM’s first BB10 device could arrive in Canada as early as February 28th.
As seen above, the image reveals the details of the yet to be named BlackBerry 10 device, which is obviously heading to Bell Canada. It even reveals the price of the smartphone, which is set at $799.99. The image was taken from Best Buy Canada’s internal inventory system. Fellow tech site BGR contacted RIM for a statement The company reportedly responded, “We understand that there is a lot of excitement for BlackBerry 10. We will launch the platform on January 30th and until then we won’t comment on speculation.”
