Good news Samsung Galaxy Note owners – if you are still holding onto the original Galaxy Note and have not traded up for the Galaxy Note 2 or any of the other phablets currently available in the market, you might be pleased to learn that Samsung has confirmed a second premium suite update will be headed onto the device, along with the confirmation that it will also be receiving the highly-anticipated and much coveted Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. This was revealed on the Samsung Galaxy Note microsite which details some of the new features which includes multi-window, Google Now and of course, Project Butter. No word on when exactly this update will be rolling out, but hopefully with CES and MWC 2013 around the corner, Samsung will be stepping up their game and pushing the update out to the masses before then. As usual carrier-locked Galaxy Note devices will probably need to wait for their update, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled nonetheless.
