What do the following smartphones from LG have in common? I am referring to the Optimus 2X, Black, 3D, LTE, Prada, and the correct answer would be this – all of them have yet to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but we are pleased to say that this is no longer the case, at least in the days and weeks ahead. Who would have thought that LG Singapore would be the party to reveal information concerning an Ice Cream Sandwich update for the LG Optimus 2X, Black, 3D, LTE, and Prada?
According to LG Singapore’s Facebook post, the Ice Cream Sandwich bandwagon will arrive on the LG Optimus 2X, Optimus Black, Optimus 3D, Prada and Optimus LTE “in due time”. It is rather interesting to note that the LG Optimus Black was officially denied an update not once, but twice already, and yet it has been brought back ‘from the dead‘, so to speak, with the Optimus Black being prepared for the Ice Cream Sandwich soon.
