Well, halfway around the world is another interesting “monument”, or should I say, mechanism that will rely on flowing sheets of water to function as a form of shimmering canvas. This display can be said to be a clever amalgamation of a waterfall as well as a digital printer, all rolled into one. The water streams are lit up beautifully in its own way so that your eyes will be treated to an always changing array of designs and beautiful patterns – not only that, it can also tell you the time if programmed properly. This particular display is part of Koei Industry’s handiwork, and it is currently located in the South Gate Building in the Osaka Station City shopping mall in Japan. For those who are heading down to that part of Japan, it would certainly be something worth checking out.
