[CES 2012] Lenovo has just introduced the Lenovo IdeaTab S2, a 1.27lbs, 8.69mm tablet with a 10″ display that runs on
Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Lenovo is so happy with Android 4.0 that they describe the IdeaTab S2 as delivering a “flawless” end-user experience. As you can see on the photo, Lenovo also came up with a keyboard/dock which looks very cool (I can’t wait to type with it and report back). It has a secondary battery inside, and 2 USB ports along with an Flash card reader. Lenovo says that with the additional battery, the IdeaTab S2 10″ can last for 20 hours.Of course, it is impossible not to compare the IdeaPad S2 with the ASUS Transformer prime, because both are very nice looking tablets. On the paper, it looks like the IdeaTab S2 may not win on the benchmarking contest, but it has Android 4.0 and 3G out of the box. Both use an IPS display, so in the end, pricing, usage and design may win customer over – what do you think?
