If walking isn’t efficient enough for you to make your way around campus, you could always invest in something like a bicycle or a Segway. And then you could always come up with a vehicle on your own as well – which is what an MIT student named Stephan Boyer decided to do. Called the “Bullet”, this homemade unicycle is a self-balancing unicycle that takes away all the effort required to balance on a unicycle while on the move. However it is noted that it only helps riders travel backward and forward, and not sideways yet but it still looks pretty fun to ride.
The Bullet isn’t coming close to replacing the Segway anytime soon, but here’s to hoping we see more creative modes of transportation from those folks over at MIT. Check out a video demonstration:
