If you’re keen on putting Android on your HP TouchPad, you won’t be limited to using only CyanogenMod. A team named Team Xron has put together a new Android custom ROM for the tablet, using a modified version of CyanogenMod. This version of Android from Team Xron features more elements from the original Android Honeycomb as opposed to CyanogenMod.
For folks who want a “purer” Android experience, Team Xron’s ROM would be the way to go. It features Honeycomb themes and wallpapers as well as icons and widgets. The boot animation is also no longer CyanogenMod’s but taken from the Google Nexus One. It also comes with a whole bunch of preloaded apps like Google Music, Google Talk (with video support), Swype keyboard, Adobe Flash Player and Netflix.
