LG kicked off this year with some pretty impressive phones and it looks like it’s only going to get better. The folks over at Pocketnow managed to get their hands on images of LG’s upcoming phones for this year, but due to the fact that they weren’t allowed to post them online, they’ve rendered some graphical mock ups of the phones instead. Here is a rundown on some of the phones leaked:
LG Prada K2: obviously inspired by LG’s previous Prada phone in terms of design, the Prada K2 will feature a 4.3″ NOVA LCD, and will only be 8.8mm thick. An 8-megapixel rear shooter for taking photos and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera will be onboard for video calls. The phone will come with 16GB internal storage, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The phone will support 21Mbps HSPA+ and is said to have Prada-inspired texture on the casing. ETA: this year’s holiday season.
LG Univa (Optimus Two): said to be the successor to the Optimus One (LG’s successful entry-level Android phone), it features an 800MHz processor, a 3.5″ HVGA display, a 5-megapixel camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and DLNA support. ETA: Q4 2011.
LG K: this phone is said to be the one of the first phones with a true 720p HD display. It is rumored to be the LG P930 that was hinted in an XML file a few months ago. The phone is said to have a 4.5″ display with a pixel density that matches or exceeds the current iPhone’s Retina Display.
Head over to Pocketnow for the scoop on the other phones we didn’t mention. With Android phones ranging from high-end devices to a mini device and a sweet looking Windows Phone device, it looks like LG fans won’t be disappointed. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted.
