The Pantech Vega Racer was announced to be arriving later this month in Korea, but it looks like it won’t be alone. Pantech has also recently shown off another dual-core Snapdragon phone that will be going on sale this month in Korea. Called the Pantech Vega No. 5, this phone looks a lot like the Vega Racer, albeit bigger. In fact its large screen brings another phone to mind – the original Dell Streak smartphone/tablet.
It packs a 5” touchscreen display (480 x 800), an overclocked dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and 14.4Mbps HSPA+ connectivity. The phone is said to launch in Korea this month, though no word has been made about its international availability or its price. Watch a video demonstration of the phone after the break:
