Beleaguered Nokia and news network CNN have announced their plans to forge an international agreement that will see the former deliver rich mapping services to the news network. For those who are savvy and well-informed, the first signs of this partnership would be when CNN relied on Nokia’s new 3D maps in order to show off the route of the recent royal wedding procession in the UK. Apart from that, this union of sorts has also resulted in a new CNN news app that is available in the Ovi Store.
One of the more special factors in the CNN app would be the iReport section. iReports are basically a method that CNN uses so that members of the public are able to become citizen journalists through the simple move of submitting an audio or video report straight to CNN. The iReport app lets you view worldwide iReports to know what’s happening everywhere else as well.
