According to the latest job listing posted by Apple, it looks like they’re looking to bring new Thunderbolt port to devices other than the MacBook Pro. On their official hiring site, Apple posted a vacancy for the role of “Thunderbolt Software Quality Engineer” – a candidate with at least 5 years of software quality assurance testing to test new hardware and software that will take advantage of Thunderbolt input/output technology. This isn’t the first Thunderbolt-related job posting that has cropped up recently, so it looks like the company is really working on expanding their team of Thunderbolt engineers. It’ll be interesting to see what sort of Thunderbolt-enabled devices will be popping up from Cupertino the future.
