Great news for those folks who purchased an iPad recently and didn’t know Apple was going to announce the iPad 2 yesterday. Apple has announced that people who purchased the first generation iPad within the last 2 weeks can be subjected to extra special treatment. They can either request for a $100 refund, or they can return their device to Apple for a full refund since the iPad 2 will be offered at the same prices that the current iPad. It basically would be like a trade in for the new device. However, the 2 week window means that folks who only purchased the iPad as early as February 16 would be eligible for the offer. How many of you folks are eligible for the offer, and will you be taking up it?
