Takara Tomy has just released a new Augmented Reality toy that allows you to fish wherever you are. The toy comes with a camera and a display that superimposes virtual fish over the backdrops of wherever you are no matter where you are. This means you’ll be able to see fish swimming in your office or around people waiting at bus stops. With force feedback, realistic sounds and reflexive action, it does sound like it could be real fun. So if you’re a fan of fishing, but dislike the hot sun, effort required to reel in a huge fish and you don’t have the patience to wait for one, the Virtual Master Real might just be the toy for you. Too bad it will probably never make its way across the sea, but we can hope. The Virtual Master Real will go on sale in Japan in July for $77.
