Video editing on mobile devices seems to be increasingly important and after Apple introduced iMovie for iOS devices, folks have also discovered a Movie Studio app on the Motorola XOOM, which is powered by Android 3.0 Honeycomb. If the name didn’t give it away, it’s a video editor for Android tablets, allowing users to add titles, transitions, and other digital effects to videos that are recorded on the device. The video editor could possibly be able to run on devices with smaller displays such as smartphones and it’ll be interesting to see how it will match up against the iMovie app. Will mobile video editing be the next big thing?
