It boasts up to 6 times the speed in terms of performance when compared to older PC file sharing-based technologies, and has the flexibility to be used either on the network or as a personal external storage solution. Security features include user-selectable levels of read/write privileges and the elimination for the need for TCP/IP settings, making it safe from external hackers.
