You might have already seen the screenshots of the ASUS Home Server TS mini, and now some technical details have started to emerge, along with a handy comparison chart to pit it against Acer’s Aspire easyStore Home Server. The 2 hard drive bays are nothing to shout about, but taking into account the form factor of the unit, it’s not that bad. The 6 USB ports and 2 eSATA ports will certainly come in handy though. With hints that the Asus Home Server might show up in the USA, UK, Australia, Taiwan, Japan and Germany, it’s probably a good idea to start saving your pennies from now.
