SupportSpace I visited the SupportSpace booth yesterday and I saw a demo of the service. I like it a lot. It could be a great replacement of traditional phone-based Tech Support services. Directly on the home page, users can see the experts’ profiles, rates and ranking. Once the user has selected an expert to help to troubleshoot her/his computer, a chat session is engaged with her/him. Using a Remote Desktop like software with no client download, the expert conduct the maintenance task ordered.
AternityAternity, an Intel Capital portfolio company, launches its platform that monitors desktop performance, application usage/usability, human productivity, and end-to-end performance of every application transaction. Any problems is identified and the computer user is notified.
Symantec I already published about the Symantec Family Safety Initiative that helps parents with their children online safety. I like the fact that this solution requires the kids collaboration to work properly, and itdoes not invade their privacy too much: any content from their favorite social networking website site as private is not shown to the parents.
