Israeli company ApNano has developed a material that could see action in the battlefields of the future. This new super armor is said to be 5 times stronger than steel and at least double the strength of any current impact-resistant material. This claim was derived from a sample of the ApNano material that withstood shock pressures of up to 250 tons per square cm by a steel projectile moving at 1.5km/s.
